Our Services

Discover our personalised occupational therapy services tailored to honour and support individual needs and goals.

Ongoing Therapy

We collaboratively set goals with you or your child and offer a range of therapeutic strategies, applying a trauma-informed lens and our multi-modal occupational therapy framework. We also work closely with parents, caregivers and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Cater to all ages, providing services in natural environments such as their home, school/childcare, and community.

Use an evidence-based approach in understanding and supporting aspects such as sensory processing, self-regulation, emotional regulation, cognition, executive functioning, and motor skills.

Guide individuals in identifying their strengths and social identities, collaboratively working with them to develop strategies that work and suit their needs. Assistive technology and home modifications may be recommended.

Functional Capacity Assessments

Our functional capacity assessment (FCA) is a comprehensive evaluation that identifies an individual’s goals, strengths, and abilities in areas such as mobility, self-care, communication, social interaction, and cognitive functioning.

It is normally used as a personalised support plan under the NDIS outlining the types of assistance and services the individual requires to improve their quality of life and achieve desired outcomes.

We are experienced in providing supporting evidence when applying for home and living accommodations, supported independent living (SIL) or specialist disability accommodation (SDA).

We use standardised assessments and functional observations using our OT lens, and we work alongside participants and other relevant parties to gather data relevant to the FCA.

Allied Health Assistants

They play a critical role in enabling us to provide a tailored service designed to meet the unique therapeutic objectives of each client.

They support our clients, and OTs deliver therapy programs designed to reinforce therapeutic strategies to help develop clients' skills and engage them in activities that are meaningful to them.

They assist our OTs with client management and implementation of therapeutic strategies in various settings.

Positively influences our affectional therapy practice, enabling us to deliver holistic and effective service to all our clients.

Mentors

We have a casual pool of Allied Health students who help us deliver support to clients beyond therapy sessions so that they can engage in activities they want and need to do.

Mentored by our OTs, they can deliver hands-on assistance and supervision to our clients who require support to participate in activities that are meaningful to them.

They can help reinforce therapeutic strategies in daily living contexts.

They help maximise the effectiveness of OT interventions and ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to supporting individuals with disabilities.
